Govind Bollywood Career
In 1986-90, Govinda made his debut with several hits. His first debut as a major leading actor was seen in “Tan-Badan” in which he acted opposite Kushboo. In 1985, he gave shots for his next movie which was ‘Love 86.’
After releasing his first hit Ilzaam, he got into the books of Bollywood. In 2000, he acted as a villain first time in his film Shikari. The movie didn’t attain much success, but Govinda remained a hard-working star.
After releasing a series of blockbuster hits in the 2000s, Govinda has a career setback. The major hit running in the early 2000s, which featured Govinda as a lead role was ‘Jodi Number 1’. Other famous hits include Hadh Kar Di Apne, Kunwara, Ek Aur Ek Gyarah, and Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta.

The Punjabi and Sindhi rooted family got blessed with Govinda on 21 December 1963 in Bombay. He has one brother (Kirti Kumar) and a sister (Kaamini Khanna). He got introduced first time in ‘Tan-Badan’ by his uncle, Anand Singh. Sunita Munjal (Anand’s sister) and Govinda fell in love with each other and tied their knots in 1987.
Till four years, Govinda’s marriage remained a secret. Both of them got blessed with a daughter (Tina Ahuja) and son (Yashvardhan). Tina entered the Bollywood industry with her first debut in ‘Second Hand Husband’ during 2015.
